PadelClipp records continuously so you never miss a point — and everything it records is stored locally on your device. This page explains exactly what the app does and doesn't do with your data.
The short version: nothing leaves your device
PadelClipp does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The app has no server — your videos, clips, and settings exist only on your iPhone and, where applicable, your Apple Watch.
Camera & microphone
PadelClipp uses your iPhone's camera and microphone to record your padel match while the app is open and recording. Footage is written to a temporary rolling buffer on your device. When you save a highlight, the clip is stored in the app's local library. When you stop recording, the buffer is deleted.
Recording only happens when you start it, and a visible recording indicator is always shown.
Photo library
The app requests add-only access to your photo library so that clips you choose to export are saved to your Photos. PadelClipp cannot browse, read, or modify your existing photos and videos.
Apple Watch
The PadelClipp Watch app communicates with your iPhone over Apple's local WatchConnectivity framework to start recording and save clips from your wrist. These commands travel directly between your own devices via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi and are never sent to us or any third party.
Notifications
PadelClipp may ask permission to show local notifications — for example, to remind you to open the app when you start recording from your Apple Watch. These are generated entirely on your device. The app does not use push notifications and has no server to send them from.
PadelClipp Pro subscription
The optional Pro subscription is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your name, payment details, or billing address. Apple provides the app with an anonymous receipt used only to unlock Pro features on your device.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings. Apple's handling of your purchase data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Deleting your data
Because everything is stored locally, you are in full control:
- Delete individual clips inside the app's library
- Delete all clips at once via Settings → Storage Management
- Uninstalling the app permanently removes all app data from your device
Children's privacy
PadelClipp does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected or transmitted by the app, no personal information of any user — of any age — is processed by us.
Changes to this policy
If PadelClipp's data practices ever change — for example, if a future feature requires a network connection — this policy will be updated here before that version is released, with a new effective date at the top of the page.
